Women at War

#ArtNews#ABOUTWOMEN2022 in collaboration with Studio 40 Contemporary Art Centre have started an interesting call for #MailArt#WomenAtWar is the subject that we want to highlight on this occasion. #Exhibition will be in July and August 2022.

#War is another of the scenarios in which the role of #women is made invisible, despite being as protagonists as men and suffering the consequences. Years of armed conflicts in #Yemen, #Afghanistan and #Syria. Women and girls, the great victims. #Ukraine, #Uganda, #Palestine, #Nigeria and a long etcetera You show us terrible stories of women without a voice, whose pain, strength and heroism is made invisible. #Art is a way to break the silence and initiate reflection among all.

All who want to participate are welcome! All #postcards received will be exhibited alongside the #ABOUTWOMEN collection at the Gallery of #Wales -#UK in July.

SENDERS PLEASE NOTE!!! The size: 15 x10cm/ 4x6 inches, must be adhered to, in order for a piece of Mail Art to be included in the travelling exhibition. Any work outside this size will only be shown in Studio 40 show.
